April 15, 2025 – Over the years,Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) has been enhancing its team members’ understanding of the country’s and Macau’s development through multi-pronged approaches by continuously organizing different activities, including the GEG National Education Series. Today marks the 10th National Security Education Day and the first public opening day of the National Security Education Exhibition, jointly co-organized by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR. As part of the GEG National Education Series, GEG organized the visit to the exhibition for its team members to assist in deepening their understanding of national security and the nation’s latest developments as well as promoting the national security education.

This afternoon, Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG, led GEG’s team members to visit the exhibition. They explored each section of the exhibition and gained comprehensive insights of the holistic approach to National Security through the guidance of an on-site exhibition docent and explanations of audio guides. This year, the exhibition adopts the national theme of “The 10th Anniversary of National Security Education Day: Advancing Towards More In-depth & Effective Implementation” and features seven sections that highlight the country’s achievements and efforts in promoting national security education over the decade. To facilitate access, the exhibition offers an online visitation platform, which GEG has proactively promoted to its team members by sharing relevant information through its internal communication channels, such as “GEG Buzz” and digital display screens in its back-of-house areas, so they can explore the significance of national security.

One of the participating team members said that GEG has always shared information about the country through various channels and multiple activities, keeping them informed of the national developments in different aspects. Through today’s well-arranged visit, the participant said that the visit helped them gain valuable knowledge about national security and its relevance daily life, and expressed that they would encourage colleagues, families and friends to proactively learn more about the exhibition.

As a patriotic Chinese enterprise deeply rooted in Macau, GEG supports national education and promotes the spirit of patriotism and love for Macau through diverse approaches over the years. Earlier, GEG organized the “Sharing Session of the NPC and CPPCC” again, engaging over 600 GEG executives both on-site and via online live broadcast to learn the spirit of the “Two Sessions”. In an effort to foster national education among youth, GEG has title sponsored the National Conditions Education (Macau) Association in organizing the “GEG Macau Cup – Youth National Education Competition” for 17 consecutive years. GEG has also co-organized the GEG Youth Achievement Program (“YAP”) with the Macau Management Association for 14 consecutive years, and arranged YAP members to visit Guangzhou Guigu Technology Park and Shenzhen Technology Research and Development Base to explore the cutting-edge enterprises recently. Through providing visits and networking activities for participants, GEG hopes them to experience national development firsthand. Meanwhile, GEG emphasizes cultivating talents in sciences, and has been co-organizing the “Youth Science and Technology Village” program with the Education and Youth Development Bureau and the Macao Science Center since 2023. This year, GEG also title sponsored the Science Education Promotion Association of Macau in organizing Macau the first ever international youth astronomy competition “GEG Astronomy Cup – The 1st Macau International Youth Astronomy Competition” to support the inspiration to local patriotic youth in science.
